About this hammock
The Volcano Double Hammock is a two-person camping hammock that’s up before the fire is. Its 3m no-knot straps adjust to any tree, the steel carabiners hold 1,200kg each, and the hammock itself takes 225kg. Dark, earthy and made from 100% recycled nylon.
Delivery and returns
Delivery is free anywhere in South Africa. Most orders reach the major centres in 1 to 3 business days and outlying areas in 3 to 5, with a tracking number by email or SMS. International orders usually take 5 to 10 business days, and the cost depends on where you are.
Changed your mind? Send it back unused within 48 hours of delivery, in its original packaging and with everything it came with, for your money back. Email support@hami.co.za first so we can set it up. The courier back to us is on you. Returns and refunds
Lifetime warranty
Every HAMI piece is covered for defects in materials and workmanship, like stitching, seams, zips, frames and hardware, for its expected lifespan with normal recreational use and proper care. We look at claims within 2 business days and repair, replace or credit approved ones.
Normal wear, UV fading, heat damage, cuts, going over the weight limit, misuse and commercial use aren't covered. Read the full warranty

Write a reviewCan you sleep in the Volcano Double Hammock overnight?
Yes. At 3m x 1.8m there's room to lie diagonally, which keeps you flatter and more comfortable. Bring a sleeping bag or blanket, because air underneath cools you quickly at night.
Will it keep me dry in the rain?
Not on its own. Hang a HAMI EcoTarp above it as a rain fly to stay dry.
Is it safe to hang from any tree?
Use healthy, living trees thicker than your thigh. Avoid dead trees, dead branches overhead and young saplings.
How high should I hang it?
Clip it so the lowest point sits about knee to hip height once you're in it. Start low and adjust using the strap loops.
Can I leave it up at camp for a few days?
Yes. Zip the Cacoon Hammock Sleeve over it to keep out leaves and dew, and let it dry fully before packing.
