About this hammock
A two-person hammock that goes up in under a minute. The tree-friendly straps and steel carabiners come in the bag, so it’s ready to hang straight away. 3m x 1.8m, 900g and rated to 225kg.
Delivery and returns
Delivery is free anywhere in South Africa. Most orders reach the major centres in 1 to 3 business days and outlying areas in 3 to 5, with a tracking number by email or SMS. International orders usually take 5 to 10 business days, and the cost depends on where you are.
Changed your mind? Send it back unused within 48 hours of delivery, in its original packaging and with everything it came with, for your money back. Email support@hami.co.za first so we can set it up. The courier back to us is on you. Returns and refunds
Lifetime warranty
Every HAMI piece is covered for defects in materials and workmanship, like stitching, seams, zips, frames and hardware, for its expected lifespan with normal recreational use and proper care. We look at claims within 2 business days and repair, replace or credit approved ones.
Normal wear, UV fading, heat damage, cuts, going over the weight limit, misuse and commercial use aren't covered. Read the full warranty

Idan designed the Double Hammock so everything you need to hang it comes with it: no-knot straps that hug the tree, a steel carabiner for each end, and room for two once it's up.
No knots. Twelve loops.
Each 3m strap has 12 loop settings, so it adjusts to any tree or beam without tying a thing.
Straps that hug the tree.
They're made to wrap around the trunk rather than cut into it.
Up in under a minute.
Strap round each tree, pick a loop, clip in the carabiners. Done.

Convenient and compact.
Super easy to setup, the 60 second claim is legitimate, just swing the ropes around the trees connect the hooks and that's it. I like how compact and portable it is and easy to pack up again, when I first opened it I thought it was going to be one of those things that are impossible to pack back in the original bag without very careful folding etc., but no, it just stuffs right into the bag no problem.

Is it big enough for two people?
Yes. The Ocean Hammock measures 3m x 1.8m and is rated to 225kg, making it suitable as a double hammock.
How much weight can it hold?
The hammock itself is rated to 225kg. The end straps are rated to 450kg, while each heavy-duty steel carabiner is rated to 1,200kg.
Is it made from recycled materials?
Yes. HAMI says its hammocks are made from 100% recycled plastics, giving existing materials another use instead of sending them to landfill.
Can I sleep in it?
Yes. At 3m x 1.8m, it gives you plenty of room to stretch out, relax or sleep outdoors.
Should I leave it outside permanently?
It is better to pack it away when you are not using it for extended periods. Let it dry fully before storing it and keep it somewhere cool and dry.
